Description

With the growing trend for larger wheel and tire combinations on the JK Wrangler, ARBs engineers have designed a new carrier to suit up to a 40-inch tire. While the factory rear door can rapidly fatigue under the weight of oversized tires, both the ARB JK Wrangler Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier have been designed with these loads in mind. The large pivot spindle removes almost all of the weight of the tire from rear door, reducing stress on the factory hinges while still providing synchronized opening and swing out. The rear bumper can be installed without the tire carrier if desired. The rear bumper is designed to integrate with a factory fitted or aftermarket receiver hitch that mounts to the center of the chassis rear cross member.
